Nissan GT-R Clocks 7:27 Around the Nurburgring

Posted in In the News by Noah on April 16th, 2009

As reported by Autoblog, Nissan’s GT-R has bested its initial time of 7:29 by over a second. This go around, the GT-R made it in 7:27.56. That is fast. VERY fast. So very too fast that it beat Porsche’s best times, and is within 1.5 seconds of Corvette’s new ZR1. Oh, and the GT-R has a back seat.

The new GT-R has 5 extra horsepower, a revised transmission/clutch assembly with new launch control, and different wheels and tires. Overall, very impressive performance.
