Think gas prices are bad in the US? Try the UK

Posted in In the News, Uncategorized by Noah on January 3rd, 2008

We are definitely in a gas-crunch in the US right now. When I first got my license about 8 years ago, I remember seeing a gallon of regular gas go for $.99 up the street from me. Now that same gas station sells that same gallon of gas for around $2.99. That is a huge jump.

But at least we’re doing better than in England. A LOT better. The Daily Mail reports that prices of £5 a gallon are expected within the next year. At the current exchange rate of ~1.97 dollars per British Pound, that same gallon of gas would cost you $9.87 in the UK!

Gross.

  1. I’d rather not think how much it would cost to fill up the Stealth…

  2. I think that engine would probably be used to power 3 cars in Europe.

Have your say
