Video of Portland drivers sliding around on the snow. Failure everywhere.

Posted in Failures, In the News by Henry on January 17th, 2007

King5, a major news channel servicing the Northwest just released this amazing video of Portland drivers failing to negotiate the perils of snow. I complained about their failure before but now I have my proof. The video starts with a SUV who slides along until he hits something. Hitting the object slows them down enough to think they can pull away so they give it some gas, they pick up a little speed, hit the next object, repeat. You would think locking the brakes until you hit something would be enough, but nope they definately compounded the failure. And then you wonder why the newscaster says such stupid things like: “See you really shouldn’t be driving in these dangerous conditions.”

  1. “See you really shouldn’t be driving in these dangerous conditions.”

See, this is why women like you should not comment on any driving event.
